Cross border inheritance tax - STEP's response to EU Commission's consultation

The EU Commission's consultation on cross border inheritance tax problems highlights the difficulty of double taxation for inheritance tax.  STEP's EU Committee has published its response to this.  Ireland has only 2 double taxation treaties for inheritance tax, with the US and with the UK and otherwise there is only unilateral relief available from double taxation.
