Jan 2013 | US Estate Taxes

The much publicised US 'fiscal cliff' negotiations has resulted in the US estate taxes increasing to 40% from the previous 35% rate. Ireland has a double taxation treaty with the US for inheritance taxes (though not for gift taxes).
